Helps to cut in bulk
I wanted an easy cutting board and a rollar cutter. This was on stock and was happy to get it. As i made burp clothes for my daughter to have. This made it easy for cutting.

Olfa Essentials Kit
The Olfa kit includes 4x12 ruler, double sided rotary mat, rotary cutter. I needed a smaller cutting mat to take to classes and this is an easy to transport size as is the ruler. I had a rotary cutter so now I can leave this one in my travel bag with the other items i purchased today.

Great starter kit for working with light-colored materials.
This has the essentials to get you started with your project right away! The mat size can handle small to medium sized projects and performs just as well as the original green. I must admit, working with dark colored materials are not as easy to see than when using the original green and best when working on light colored materials so I took one star off for that. The straight edge is great size to include in this kit but can be challenging to use since the gridlines on it is black. It would be nice if this came with lighter colored lines but can be used when working on a lighter surface for other projects. The rotary tool is great and I appreciate the quick-change feature when switching out blades. This is an upgrade to the older one offered in the past.
