How To Get It
Add the Omnigrid Cutting Mat to your sewing supplies. The mat is designed with a 1-inch grid and 0.13-inch edge markings and angle line markings on one side for measuring and cutting. Its opposite side is gray and unmarked and can be used for cuts that don’t require a ruler or grid alignment. Use this mat with an Omnigrid ruler for ultimate measuring and cutting accuracy. You can also use it with a rotary cutter or a straight-edge blade. This 24 x 36-inch mat comes with a self-healing surface.

Much more convenient than moving my fabric
I wanted a mat large enough to cut 72" wide felt doubled, without having to move my material, so got this. Once I got it to flatten out (it was packaged rolled, wondered how they were going to ship it) it's worked well. Much more convenient when cutting out multiples all of the same size. Haven't used it enough to see if it "self heals" or gets scarred.

Works For Me
The last cutting mat that I bought made my rotary blades dull faster than usual. This new Omnigrid mat does not dull blades. It’s a good size for quilting and the price was good (I used a Joanne coupon). I am getting used to the line spacing which is every inch (half inch marks are on the sides) that is the reason for 4 not 5 stars.
