This kit comes with a folding mat, a 45 mm rotary cutter and a 3 x 18-inch ruler printed with slip-resistant ink and Omnigrid patented double-site lines. It includes everything required by a quilter for rotary cutting. The 18 x 24-inch folding mat folds to 12 x 18 inches for convenience of storage. Its standard pressure-sensitive rotary cutter is designed with a soft cushion handle for added comfort.

Teaching a friend
Teaching a new friend how to sew always starts at Joanns. Best fabric. Best notions. Great variety of patterns. Everything a new sewer needs to begin a lifelong adventure in creativity and fun and frustration too. Us not so new quilters/sewers (I'm 67) can find inspiration among the isles and the employees every time. Ive been known to help other shoppers in their creations too. My husband always asks how many customers I got to help when I come home. Love the girls and guys who work at my local store here in Lincoln City, Oregon. I am a multi crafter. Sew, crochet, knit, paint, a bit of woodworking, beading, cross stitch. It can ALL be found in Joanns. My car automatically turns in when i try to drive by. To Glenda my favorite manager thank you for keeping a clean store and always having a smile on your face. You know I'll be right back.

Convenient package, great d3al
This was a great package. I really like that the rotary cutter has a guard since my animals often like to get up in my business when I'm down on the floor. I like that the mat is foldable so that it takes up less space for storage. The ruler makes it easy to cut straight lines. What a great deal.

Purchased the Omnigrid Folding Cutting Kit to try quilting. Bought a kit to make placemats and needed the board and cutter to cut the fabric correctly. Got all the pieces cut and it was very easy.

Great for storage!
I purchased this while I was on an emergency trip to help my parents out of state during a medical crisis. I wanted to have some quilting supplies to work on some small projects while there to have something to do in my downtime from the hospital. This mat was excellent and the fact that I can fold it in half to store while I’m gone is a bonus. I did not have any trouble cutting over the seam. I actually really liked the rotary cutters features and was sharp and smooth for cuts.
