How To Get It

Cut strips and trim fabric edges using the Omnigrid Rectangle Quilting Ruler for your quilting and crafting projects. This ruler is used to cut 6-inch borders with seam allowances and 6.5-inch strips for 6.5-inch blocks. You can also use it to cut borders and bias pieces. It is made from heavy-duty durable acrylic material and can be used with a rotary cutter or a straight-edge blade. The patented double-sight lines make measuring on light-hued and dark-hued fabrics easy.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from 6 1/2" was a great size I loved this ruler, and am disappointed that the stores now only have the 6" width available. Having a 1/2" on one side made it easier to avoid accidental errors when cutting any width that included 1/2" (such as 4 1/2") . . . not just the 6 1/2". The yellow did start to wear off over time, but not for a long while. Finally I dropped my ruler in the driveway and broke off the corner. That's when I discovered it's no longer available in stores. Bummer!

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Cutting Tool I'm so glad I bought this it has helped me cut my fabric along the straight edge, as well as make different measurements. I used it to make baby blanket! I like that it is clear because it allows me to see my fabrics and the light yellow numbering and lettering doesn't get in the way. The only comment I have is that it would be nice if it was a thicker plactic material but it is pretty firm to start with. Overall it is a great tool to use for cutting and meausrong my fabrics!

The two color grid and laser cut REALLY helped this beginner make some special baby blankets. I don't drive, but getting a ride to the local Joanns to buy my own O. Q. Ruler. Thanks, Linda
