For skirt, cut straight across for a flat hem.
Linen Stripe - View B
Follow pattern instructions
Knit Maxi
Use pattern for view B
Fold tissue pattern along Center Front line and cut bodice front and back on fold.
Cut skirt back and front on fold, adding length for maxi
To achieve a flat and smooth neckline with knit fabric, use the following steps:
Measure neckline length (example, Small = 26")
Multiple that measurement by .85 (example 26"x.85 = 22")
Add seam allowance (example = 22" + 1.25" = 23.25")
Use this length, plus a depth of 1.5" and cut neckband ON GRAIN
Sewing neckband:
Divide bodice neckline into four equal sections and mark with a pin
Divide neckband into four equal sections, also marking
Match and pin neckband to bodice
Sew with 3/8" seam allowance, stretching neckband to meet bodice as you sew
Press seam allowances towards body
Topstitch 1/8" from seam on bodice side to keep your seam allowances from rolling up
Use the same technique to finish armhole edges
Two Tone Pink Top with contrast stripe
Use view B as your starting point and make the following changes to your cutting:
Front Bodice - Make note of the ‘Center Front’ marking on the tissue paper pattern. Measure 5/8" (for your seam allowance) from this line and fold pattern along this line. Cut one light pink and dark pink front bodice.
Back Bodice - Add 5/8" to center back and cut one light pink and one dark pink back bodice
Front Placket - Measure the distance from the center front marking to edge fo bodice front. Add 1.25" for seam allowance and cut out of contrast stripe
Sleeves - cut one light pink and one dark pink sleeve. Cut sleeve band out of contrast stripe
Construction:
Sew back bodice, right sides together
Sew front placket to front bodice, right sides together.
Follow instructions for view B for bodice construction.
Instead of sewing bodice to skirt, turn under 7/8" at bodice hem and press. Then turn edge 1/4" and sew channel. Insert elastic, and secure to center front, so blouse can open.
Cover buttons with darker pink fabric.
Ruffle Neck Blouse
Follow pattern view A for all construction except neckline and hem.
Check length of bodice against yourself. Add any necessary length before cutting.
Construct bodice as per instructions until neckline
Create ruffle by cutting piece the following size:
Length should be double the neckline
Depth should be double your desired ruffle size PLUS 1.25" for seam allowance
Cut your ruffle on grain
Sew short ends of ruffle, right sides together. Trim and turn right side out
Stitch two rows of long stitching at raw edge of ruffle. Pull threads to gather until ruffle is length of neckline. Stoke gathers so they are even and pin ruffle to neckline (excluding the button side of the placket, about 1" from garment front edge)
Sandwich ruffle between bodice and self bias, which should be folded wrong sides together. Turn under center front edges before stitching. Stitch ⅝" from edge.
Understitch a scant 1/16" from neckline edge on BIAS side.
Stitch again, securing bias to bodice, keeping ruffle free from stitch line.
Make a narrow hem to complete garment.
Cover buttons with ruffle fabric.
JOANN HACKS:
- When matching plaid or large prints, cut each pattern piece on a single layer of fabric (instead of cutting two at a time)

How can you follow the instructions when you haven't cut out the pattern or fabric? There was no link to purchase the pattern. This add doesn't say what pattern it is.

Hard to find the pattern
The pattern is there but it looks nothing like the project. They really should have put a picture of the pattern with the project so we knew what we were looking for. I finally figured it out.
