- 1/2yd pieces of various light prints, 9
- 3 1/4yd (total) of different color solids
- 5 1/2yd HeatNBond Lite
- 4yd fabric for backing
- 5/8yd for binding
- Twin-size quilt batting
- Template plastic
- Rotary cutter, ruler & mat
- Thread for applique to match solids
- Basic sewing supplies
- Iron & pressing surface
- Sewing machine

DIRECTIONS:
- Finished measurement 60"x 60"
- Read all instructions before cutting and sewing.
- Use accurate 1/4" seams.
- From pieces of a light print cut seventeen 6 1/2" strips. Subcut into one hundred 6 1/2" squares.
- Trace Template A onto plastic and cut orange peel shape.
- Press HeatNBond to wrong sides of solids following product instructions.
- Trace template on paper side of solids and cut orange peels. You will need 100.
- Peel paper from shape and press to a 6 1/2" square as shown in Diagram 1. Complete each square to make 100.
- Stitch around each orange peel with a zigzag stitch using thread to match the solid.
- Following Diagram 2 sew squares together to make twenty-five 12 1/2" blocks. Press.
- Sew five rows of 5 blocks each. Press.
- Sandwich backing, backing and quilt top. Quilt by stitching in the ditch.
- Trim and bind quilt.
