When cutting fabric for quilts you need to have lots of light for accuracy and this light does the job. It works perfectly on my cutting table.

You could certainly buy something cheaper, but this one provides excellent lighting (at three levels of brightness), great flexibility in the neck and ability to direct the light, and also the base is sufficient to keep it from tipping over. It is PERFECT for sewing and crafts! I'm really happy with it!

It currently resides on my iron board which has some move, but the light has a nice sized, weighted base so it does not fall over. The button allows you 3 levels of brightness and the neck is flexible and can be moved in any direction.

OMGoodness, this is the most BEST lamp ever! It lights up my whole drafting table with just a touch and I have control over the intensity of the light output (3 levels). It's very stable with a wide base and the neck is easily adjustable. It came with easy to understand set up instructions (super easy). And it has a nice length AC Adapter cord (aprox. 70" long). I hope this review helps anyone looking for a great dependable table lamp. I am so happy with this purchase!

I just needed another for a different spot in my house. I also have three other OttLite lamps. There is no other lamp on the market that gives me such nice and clear light to see my crafts. I have an OttLite at every space in my house that I might cross stitch or crochet. And I have another in my actual craft room for jewelry making. They are great quality and last forever.

Perfect next to my sewin My newest and best Ott light…perfect by sewing machine and not in my way. I have several Ott lights in the house for needle work and craft areas and prefer Ott. I like this newest one with LED as it seems brighter and I know it will last a long time.
