It provides excellent light for my crochet and bead projects and is the perfect height while sitting. Joann has always provided good shopping and shipping service; I prefer to come here for my crafting supplies. Highly recommend.

I keep it in my sewing room and move it to different areas for sewing at my sewing machine, or to a table for cutting quilt pieces, or to my ironing area. The direct light makes my fine, delicate tasks more visible and easier to do with better outcomes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, but miss the swivel shade. I purchased the Ottlite 18w WIngShade Floor Lamp. I give Ottlite 5 stars for their products, since I love the full spectrum light for projects. Unfortunately this one stopped working right away, so I had to return it. (Never had that problem before). I did miss being able to swivel the shade upwards or downwards, like my previous model. This one only faces downward. I had trouble getting the lighting fixture aligned over the base in the 'safe zone' (for steadiness). It worked best when I intentionally positioned the cord (where it comes out at the bottom of the post) so that it faced OVER the base, not away from the base, to the back. I'm using a desk model Ottlite that I already owned, in its place, and put it on a stand.
