Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not last long I have had the lamp only about 2 years. I am a paper crafter and the lamp was very good in lighting up a dark area in my craft room. I only used it when I cut paper on my paper cutter. It was never on for more that 15 minutes at a time. The bulb has burned out. It certainly did not get the 40,000 hours they advertised. I did not have more that 100 hours on it. Very disappointing.

However, the light itself didn’t not last anywhere close to what was stated , not even half the time extremely disappointing and from what I can tell so far after spending to much time researching I believe I can’t replace the light

The light disappointed me as there seems to be no way of putting a new bulb in it once the bulb dies, so your lamp would be done to. Also if the bulb got damaged, and it is an exposed bulb. We are using it under a bunk bed in my daughter's dorm room and the bendy part won't hold the bulb up high. I am guessing that it would on a desk but not in a non typical use. The light itself though is bright and clear.
