SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Piece of Foamies®, 5"x 5"
- Cardstock: craft paper, evergreen, striped awning design, white birch
- Small artificial flowers
- Small pebbles
- 2 toothpicks
- Small piece of balsa wood
- Wood burner
- Tombow glue with green lid
- Scissors
- Cricut® machine, optional
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut the foamie and cardstock in a random oval shape.
- Glue the craft paper to the foamie.
- Make the tent first and glue it to the craft paper base.
- Cut your own pine trees or you can cut them out on a Cricut machine. Glue the pine trees to sit behind the tent as kind of a background.
- Make a circle of the small stones in front to look like a campfire. Glue the stones in place.
- Make a small canoe from the white birch paper and use parts of a toothpick for the bench in the canoe.
- Oars can be made of cardstock or found twigs.
- Wood burn the name of a location, camp or people's name into the balsa wood piece. Glue the sign to another piece of balsa wood for the post.
- Glue the sign to the craft paper base. Glue small flowers around the sign to make it appear nestled in the location.
JOANN Hacks:
- Try not to make the items too big. Compare the size of the tent to the canoe to get the proportions correct.
