SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Large galvanized bucket with leather straps
  • 3 floral foam bricks
  • 16" yellow Ranunculus bush
  • 2 green Dusty Miller sprays, 25"
  • 20" purple Peony bush
  • Peony Ranunculus Rose bush
  • Orange Ranunculus bush
  • 2 cornflower bush
  • Wire cutters
  • Floral tape

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Insert floral foam tightly into the container, leaving approximately 1/2" foam extended from the top of the container.
  2. Add the yellow Ranunculus flowers to the arrangement, placing the flowers in the same spot on the opposite side of the container.
  3. Separate the Dusty Miller greens and cut into small clusters and add it throughout the arrangement.
  4. Cut the purple Peonies from their main stem and add it to the arrangement. Use all the greens from the Peonies to add into the arrangement.
  5. Separate the berries and the orange Ranunculus from the mixed floral bush. Add those to the arrangement.
  6. Fill in any spots that are bare or areas where the foam is showing with another stem of the Dusty Miller greenery.
  7. Insert the cornflower stems into the arrangement to fill in and accent the shape of it.
  8. Cover any foam that is showing with extra greenery from any of the floral stems.

JOANN Hacks:

  • Press the floral foam onto the top of the container to get an outline of where to cut so that the foam fits tightly into the tin.
  • If the cornflower stems are too short to reach to the top of the arrangement, add stem length by using any leftover stems or pieces from the cut floral. Tape the leftover stem to the cornflower and insert into the arrangement.
