Too Short :(
As everyone else says, the string cut length is simply wrong! If you cut the string, you physically will not be able to finish this project. I'm in my late 20s and I've done little beaded lizards before, so I thought this would be similar... but the "instructions" are pretty laughable. Don't buy this kit unless you just want a little package of pony beads on sale - you won't be making a kitty cat keychain with these directions alone.

Not beginner friendly
I was so excited to start strung pony beading and this kit seemed like the perfect way to learn. I’m an experienced crafter in her 30’s and even that doesn’t help the bad directions. They start off alright but suddenly jump to finishing half of it in one step, and I can’t see a way to finish it given the length it says to cut the string. A shame because it’s so cute and seems like it really would be simple :( at least it was on sale

Worst bead kit I've ever bought!
Bought this for my granddaughter who is 10 years old and this kit was a nightmare. Directions were poor to say the least and as the other reviewer said, if you cut the string as the directions state then it is impossible to complete the project. Ended up having to use our own string and my daughter ended up making it. The age listed on the kit, 6+ and the time, 30 minutes are very misleading and totally wrong. Avoid this kit, do not buy!!!

Absolutely awful
This is absolutely awful. I don't know how they could possibly expect a 6-year-old to be able to do this with how unhelpful the instructions are. They basically show you a picture of a half-completed project and say "do this". If I hadn't done similar projects before myself, I would have been completely lost. Luckily I knew how to do it and could figure it out from their horrible instructions. However I could not complete the project because they told me to cut the string at the very first step to a certain length which ended up not being enough length to actually finish off the section it was meant for. And I didn't want to start completely over from scratch with my own string. I suggest if you want to do this you need to already know how to do it and provide your own string and don't cut it as short as they tell you to. Good luck.
