Great for sweatpant drawstrings!
My sweatpants come with a loop of tiny, slippery cord for the drawstring. The loop doesn't stay tied and it's way too small. Additionally, with today's tumbling washers, other clothes get caught in the loop and break it or twist it beyond recognition. I finally had to replace several loops and used this. Wow! So much longer, stronger, and no loop to tangle. The loop pictured is the last out of 8 pair to survive my washer. I made the new cord long enough to comfortably tie a shoelace knot - knot with a bow on top. So comfortable on the waist, much easier to get into and out of, and nothing for other clothes to damage in the washer. Once you fix your sweats with this, you won't go back. I'll replace the drawstring with this in any future new pair without waiting for my washer to destroy it.
