No Cap
Blade is typical. I like the handle. But I ordered online and didn’t notice there is NO CAP, only a thin plastic sleeve. I keep mine in a fabric sewing bag and I don’t see an unprotected pointed blade as an option.

All seam rippers aren’t the same
If you are a Sewist, you know this is the notion you have become very familiar with.. and you know that all seam rippers are not the same
This clover seam ripper is my all time favorite.. I panic if I can’t find it!
It works great xx slices through thread like a hot knife through butter.plus it fits perfects in my hand.. I always keep two in my seeing baskets so I am never without one.
It really is the perfect one!

My seam ripper of choice since I've used so many of them in the past.
In my opinion these seam rippers are great for all sewests as they stay sharp longer than others that I have used in the past.
