DIRECTIONS:
- Cut out poppy elements: Using the poppy template & nonstick Scissors, cut out 10 3C Petals in blush (or the crepe paper color of your choice). Then, cut out one 3B shape in juniper, followed by two 3D leaves in the same color. Last, cut out one 3A shape in fern crepe paper.
- Punch out flower center: Punch out one flower center from the paper using the daisy lever punch. Later, you will glue this on top of the covered foam ball.
- Add some fringe: Use the pinking shears to cut along one long edge of 3A shape you cut out. Then, color the tip of that edge with a marker and fringe the colored side of 3A.
- Prepare your flower center: Curl down the top end of your wire and insert into the foam ball. Glue the floral wire into the foam ball using the hot glue gun.
- Cover your flower center: Stretch your 3B shape to form a dome and use it to cover the ball. Glue the punched flower center to the top of the ball.
- Finish your flower center: Glue the bottom edge of the fringe you cut out earlier around the base of the ball. This will create a lifelike center for your final flower. Finally, glue your daisy flower center punch to the flower center after curling the edges upward.
- Curl your petals: Gently stretch the centers of each petal to form a cup shape, then stretch the top edge of each petal to create a ruffle.
- Adhere your petals: Glue the petals to the base of the foam ball, overlapping slightly.
- Assemble your leaves: Arrange two leaf halves that you cut out in Step 2 so the grain lines form a V. Glue floral wire along the center edge, then glue a second piece over the top of the wire to create the leaf. Cover the Flower and leaf wire stems with floral tape.
