SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
  • 12”x12” Black Cardstock
  • 8”x10” Black Cardstock
  • Scissors or X-acto Knife, Straightedge, and Cutting Mat
  • White Pencil
  • Craft Gluestick

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Find a 12” round object to use as a placemat template such as a bowl or a plate. Create the leg template by drawing a rectangle that is 1” x 5 1/2”. At the end of the rectangle, make a point that is about 3 1/2” away from the end and 3 1/2” below the rectangle. Attach the ends of the rectangle to that point to make the triangular point of the spider leg. Cut out the spider leg and use your white pencil to trace the leg to make all the legs you will need for your placemats. Cut out all spider legs, and attach to one side of the 12” black cardstock circle to create a spider!
