14" [25.5] deep x 26" [66 cm] around before folding.
GAUGE:
8 dc & 4-1/2 rows = 4” [10 cm]
DIRECTIONS:
Ch 30.
Row 1: (RS). 1 dc in fourth ch from hook. 1 dc in each ch to end of ch. Ch 13. Join with sl st to last dc. Turn.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc). 1 dc in each dc to end of row. Ch 13. Join with sl st to last dc. Turn.
Rep last row for pat. Cont in pat until work from beg measures 26" [66 cm] ending with a WS row. Fasten off.
FINISHING:
Sew foundation ch and last row tog to form loop. Fold cowl in half, with looped edges meeting at bottom.
