Place a bead of Fabri-Tac under folded edge and press overlap. This will create a loop. At both open ends of loop place a small bead of Fabri-Tac and press to close loop.
- This will create a panel good on both sides. The side with the overlap will be the back.
- Drape Ribbon Star trims from front to back 3 times.
- Run a bead of Fabric-Tac along edges to tac in place. Let dry.
- Make a small spray of greenery and berries. Cut the large flowers from the picks, keeping a 1 1/2"- 2" stem on each. Set flowers aside. Overlap stems of greenery from either direction. Leave a 2"- 3" space without greenery slightly above the center of the spray. Fit the spray on top of the wreath with the space without greenery directly over the bundled fabric. Attach the spray with the remaining ends of wire from the fabric bundle. Shift the spray to run perpendicular to the red ribbon, with stars on the top of the fabric. Place hot glue behind the stem groupings and add more spirals of wire to secure to wreath.
- Make a ribbon. Cut lengths of red, white and blue stripe 2 1/2" ribbon: one at 36", two at 20", one at 16" and one at 5". Cut a 36" length of white star trim. Layer the star trim on top of the 36" ribbon. Place small beads of Fabri-Tac on the center of the backs of the stars and press centered onto the RS of ribbon. Let dry.
- Make loops from the two 20" and one 16". Hot glue the ends together, ribbon RS out. Find the center opposite from the glued ends. Place hot glue on the back and press the opposite sides together. Layer the loops together at the centers, twisting the sides to make a full bow. Wire the centers together. Fold the long sides of the 5" ribbon to meet on the back. Wrap this ribbon around the center of the loop bow. Hot glue the overlap in the back. Cut off excess length. Set aside.
- Twist a 10" cut of floral wire close to the center of the length of 36" ribbon with star trim. Lay wire twist over floral stems on top of fabric bundle. Lay loop ribbon on top. Adjust location if necessary. Attach with wire and hot glue.
- Add large flowers around the ribbon. Dry fit first. Place hot glue under flower head and on stems. Press into wreath to secure. Add American flag. Glue to secure.
- Fluff ribbon loops. Cut ends of ribbon to match with stars trim. Add American Flag to center of floral arrangement.
- Make hanger. Cut a 14" piece of floral wire. Hold up the wreath to find the approximate center of the top. Attach the wire in two places 2- 3" apart. Loop and twist wire around thick branches of the grapevine.
