Peace, Love & Joy Card

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Cardstock, Green
• Marker, Dark Red
• Marker, Dark Green
• Heat Tool
• Die Cutting Machine
• Scissors
• Paper Trimmer
• Foam Adhesive

DIRECTIONS:

1. Trim a piece of green cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Fold in half to create a card base.
2. Place the Poinsettia Stencil on the front of the card base and use an ink blending brush to apply Pine Ink over the entire panel.
3. Stamp the poinsettia image on green cardstock with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. Sprinkle on gold embossing powder and heat emboss with heat tool. Use coordinating die to die-cut the image.
4. Stamp the poinsettia image on red cardstock with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. Sprinkle on gold embossing powder and heat emboss with heat tool. Trim out the four poinsettia flowers with scissors.
5. Adhere the green poinsettia image to the card base with foam adhesive. The adhere the four poinsettia images over the top with foam adhesive.
6. Use red and green markers to create dimensional shading on the foliage.
7. Stamp the "peace, love, and joy" messages on red cardstock with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. Sprinkle on gold embossing powder and heat emboss with heat tool.
8. Trim messages into strips and adhere to card base with foam adhesive.

JOANN HACKS:

• Use washi tape or painters' tape to secure the stencil in place while ink blending.
• To avoid embossing powder sticking in unwanted places, prep your cardstock with an anti-static powder tool.
