Project that I was putting together required vinyl, but the kit didn't have any. A lot cheaper than a machine embroidery company makes. Works just as good.

Transparent Vinyl for handmade placemats
The vinyl is great and easy to use. I used it to protect some painted handmade placemats. It protects them from dirt, water, etc. Easy to clean them with a simple cloth.

Total Game Changer for Project
This product transformed an item I was making where I WAS using oilcloth (hard to come by in patterns). I can now use my own fabric & make it "vinyl" & keep the design all the same. This has helped with costs a lot. It's an extra step but to get finished project how I want is worth it. And I can now make another project that had me stupmed on how to make without bult of sewing oilcloth to fabric by just using the vinyl. A definite keeper in "sewing stash".
