Used For: Used with thin or lightweight fabrics to stiffen, reinforce and provide shape retention on garments, costumes, accessories and crafts.

Pellon® 783 Lightweight Woven Sew-In Interfacing 20" Wide. 783 Lightweight Woven Sew-In is an all purpose, woven sew-in interfacing for light to midweight fabrics. It adds body and crispness to a variety of projects including shirts, jackets, and ties or can even function as a stand alone fabric. It is great for use with fabric such as oxford cloth, chambray, poplin, and calico.

soft and supple would make a great linger or slip
this feels wonderful and is light weight, however I prefer the iron after having used this. It does have a softer feel, but it offers no reinforcement just an extra layer. I do think I will try it again for a pair of pants that are very lightweight and may be see through without something else lining them, it would feel kind of like having a slip on.

This is not FUSIBLE. Seems to me fusible and non-fusible should be clearly marked on the website sine the purchaser cannot feel them.

I didn’t realize it was sew-in before I bought it and it’s not as stiff as advertised. Honestly could’ve just been a basic cotton fabric and it would’ve given me the same results

Worked great for masks!
This is thin enough to add in your masks for a 3rd layer of protection without being terribly bulky. I don’t know if it would pleat well, as the masks I make are cut from a plastic template with a seam down the center.

Pollen 783 lightweight woven pollen
This material makes a great lining for the mask I am making. The lining needs to be lightweight and breathable since my mask are three layers of material. I use a nonwoven material for the middle layer that acts as a filter plus my mask have a pocket where another filter can be placed if you need an additional filter
