Used For: Used with thin or lightweight fabrics to stiffen, reinforce and provide shape retention on garments, costumes, accessories and crafts. Two main types of interfacing include fusible (which is applied with heat) and sew-in. They can be knit or woven, and come in a variety of weights to reinforce different kinds of base fabric.
Pellon-Flex Foam 1 Sided Fusible Stabilizer: White. A lightweight, easy-to-handle, fusible stabilizer. It gives a great professional finish to all project types, providing stability and lasting body. This stabilizer is made of 100% Polyester fabric on the outside and 100% Polyurethane on the inside. 20 inch wide fusible stabilizer.
Made in USA
Sold By the Yard
Thickness: 1/4 inch
General Directions: 1. Cut Flex-Foam 1-Sided Fusible to desired size. 2. Place fusible side of Flex-Foam 1-Sided Fusible against wrong side of fabric and work from the fabric side. 3. Cover with a damp press cloth. With an iron set to a Wool/Steam setting, press in place for a full 10 seconds. Repeat, lifting and slightly overlapping iron until all interfacing is fused. Let fabric cool, then check bond.
Tips: Always pre-test with a swatch of your fabric prior to use to make sure it is compatible with the fusible. It is recommended to pre-wash all fabrics to remove any coatings that might interfere with the fusible. Do not use fabric softener. This interfacing does not require pre-shrinking. Use light pressure when fusing. Use steam iron with metal sole plate. Hand-held steamers will not permanently bond interfacing to fabric. Use a damp press cloth as a temperature and timing guide. After 10-15 seconds, press cloth should be almost dry. If not, raise iron temperature or hold iron in place a few seconds longer.
Care Instructions: Machine wash warm, tumble dry low or dry clean.

Prefer to use as sew-in instead of FusableUsing the fusible side was a bit fiddly. It’s a great foam in itself, but I prefer to baste the fabric to it.
Great workability.
