Great for leggings and more
I’ve bought many yards of this fabric in black and white. I have a great pattern for leggings that is one piece* (cut 2 of course) with self belt & sews up in 30 minutes. The spandex is super stretchy, high cotton content makes it light weight and cool but not bad for cool weather either. Though I’ve mostly made leggings, I’ve modified the pattern for bootcut and wide leg pants. I’ve made several pairs because a medication I’m on causes weight gain, then I lose again, so I’m up and down 2 sizes. Inconsistent and uncomfortable to say the least. It’s not a fancy material but sporty as it should be, and it looks very nice when ironed. Because of the high stretch, the edges roll tightly after too much handling, but it can be pressed out a little. I finally ordered a bolt of each color because buying small amounts online has resulted in it being cut up into one yard pieces that just don’t work for my needs. I don’t have a photo but the one supplied by the other reviewer is a good example of how the fabric looks sewn. I’ve made all sorts of tops from bubble gauze boho tunics (fun to embroider) to businessy polka dot stretch cotton T’s (even put buttons down the front for a faux-shirt look) to go with the pants, and they are great in all sorts of environments. My needs are very basic, but I imagine a slightly fitted & very forgiving dress would look great in this material.

Used the black fabric for leggings...wow!
This fabric was easy to use and makes the most comfortable leggings. I can't wait to buy the white and try dying it for more leggings.

As a nurse wearing scrubs comfort is a must. I use this fabric to make scrub shirts and scrub pants and they are the ultimate of comfortable. The fabric is high-quality and easy to work with. It washes like a dream and looks brand new coming out of the dryer. I wish they were more colors in this fabric as I would own each one

I have made may different types of garments of this fabric from leggings to beautiful tops.I used the Jalie raglan top pattern to make 5 tee shirts that are now so comfortable that I have discarded many of my other tee-shirts that I will never wear again. Use a stretch needle when sewing this fabric [not a jersey or ball point] and pin the seams well before you sew. This fabric keeps its shape, so fit is very important. Washes well and dries fast but best of all the color is still super black after multiple washings. Comes in two colors-black or white. I am going to try and dye the white fabric a light blue. This is one of the best fabrics Joann carries.

I bought this to make a t shirt. The material is good quality and easy to work with. It is not super stretchy- which can be a good thing, but something to keep in mind depending on the garment. The material is also a little bit heavy- it would be good for workout bottoms. I'm very happy to hear from another reviewer that it can be used in place of elastic when making masks! Cotton! I wish it came in more colors!!!

Comfortable Substitue For Elastic On Masks.
I bought this to use as an elastic replacement. Much more comfortable than elastic. Doesn't require sewing to make into strip.. I cut 1" all the way and then cut a second time into ½" strip. Pull it tight and it rolls up perfectly. Once pulled into a roll it stretches to about 1/3 longer that the original length. Then just use it as you would use elastic.
