    1. Paint the unfinished wood beads with the acrylic paint. Let them dry. Thread the beads onto the elastic thread and tie a double knot.
    2. Using your Cricut machine and in Design Space create a 4" tall collegiate letter with a circle hole at the top. When cutting leather, you will need to move the cut outs away from the edge of the mat by 1" and you will need to place masking tape all the way around the leather to hold it in place while it is cutting. Cut out another piece of leather, 2 1/2" tall oval with a circle hole at the top.
    3. Cut out your vinyl letter and any other image you want. Make them to fit on the leather cut outs.
    4. Iron the letters and images onto the leather cut outs. Use the parchment paper between the vinyl and the iron.
    5. Slip the key rings onto the leather pieces and then attach them to the bracelet.
    6. Take the embroidered thread and make a tassel to then attach onto the keyring. You can make a simple braid or look up a simple macrame knot. Make the tassel to have 4 strands of each color and about 3" long.

    JOANN HACKS:

    • You may have to make multiple passes on the leather when cutting it out. Check to see if it has cut thru before you disengage the mat. If it hasn't cut thru, then press the Cricut logo button again to make another cut session.
