SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• 1yd desired fabric
• 1/4yd fusible interfacing for waste bag.
• 4-6yds webbing (size of collar and length of leash will determine how much to purchase)
• 2 swivel hooks
• 1" D-rings, 2
• Parachute buckle
• Adjustable slider buckle
• Grommet for waste bag
• Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:

BOW

1. Cut one 2 1/2"x 4" strip for center of bow.
2. With RST, stitch 1/4" seam along long side.
3. Turn and press. Set aside.
4. Cut one 5"x 12" strip from fabric and interfacing.
5. Fuse interfacing to fabric.
6. With RST, stitch 1/2" seam along long side.
7. Turn and press having seam centered in back.
8. With RST, stitch 1/4" seam along short side.
9. Fold with stitched seam centered in back.
10. Pinch the center of bow and slip the center of bow over and pin in back.
11. Stitch center strip close to bow. Trim edge.

COLLAR

1. Measure the pet’s neck and add 11". This will be the length you need to cut for collar.
2. Cut webbing to this length.
3. Cut fabric 3 1/2"x length of measurement plus 1".
4. Fold under and press short ends 1/2".
5. Place webbing on wrong side of fabric with edge of webbing along cut side of fabric.
6. Put the cut short edge of webbing under the fold at top of fabric.
7. Stitch webbing to fabric close to cut edge.
8. Press under the remaining long cut edge of fabric 1/2".
9. Fold fabric over webbing two times and stitch along the long folded side.
10. Attach one side of parachute buckle and slider to one end of collar.
11. Slip bow onto opposite end of collar and center in place.
12. Finish attaching the remainder parachute buckle and D-ring.

LEASH

1. Cut fabric 4"x desired length of leash plus 1".
2. Cut webbing desired length.
3. Stitch fabric over webbing as for collar.
4. Insert the swivel hook into one end of leash, fold under 2" and stitch in place.
5. Insert the D-ring into other side and fold under 6"-8" for handle and stitch in place having D-ring inside this loop.
6. Place the D-ring close to stitched edge and stitch close to edge of D-ring. (This is optional for attaching the pet waste bag.)

WASTE BAG

1. Cut one front pattern for waste bag from fabric and interfacing.
2. Cut two back patterns for waste bag from fabric and inerfacing.
3. Fuse interfacing to fabric pieces.
4. Mark the center of front of bag and cut a small slit for grommet.
5. Insert grommet according to package directions.
6. Cut one 2"x 3" strip from fabric.
7. Fold in half and press, fold edges into center and press.
8. Top stitch on both sides of strip.
9. Insert swivel hook and fold strip in half.
10. Place strip and hook at edge of front having cut edges together and hook hanging down over grommet. Baste in place.
11. For the back two pieces, fold under 1/4" along straight side and press. Top stitch.
12. With RST, place back over front overlapping back to fit front.
13. Stitch around outside 1/2".
14. Turn and insert disposable bag roll.
15. Attach to D-ring on leash.
