DIRECTIONS:

  1. Remove the clear plastic from the photo spot and paint the unfinished wood ornament with acrylic paint, let dry.
  2. Once dry, add bells, sequin snowflakes or pompoms to embellish.
  3. Place the clear plastic over your photo to see where you need to cut out the face. Trace with a pen or pencil. Then cut out around the circle just slightly smaller.
  4. Place the clear plastic then the photo and the frame backer back into the ornament and clip closed to secure the photo in place.
  5. Place the ornament onto the card and write out a greeting with a small detail brush and white paint.
  6. Cut a string to use as the ornament hanger.
  7. Adhere the ornament to the front of the card with mounting tape.

JOANN HACKS:

  • Measure the hole for your photo, crop and size your picture before printing to get the right proportions.
  • Paint markers are a great tool for writing the sentiments.
