Pillow With Tassels and PomPom Trim

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• 2/3 yd fabric for 18" x 18" pillow
• 1/2 yd fabric for 12" x 16" pillow
• 4 Tassels
• 2-1/4 yds Pom Pom trim
• 18" pillow form
• 12" x 16" pillow form
• Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:

(1/2" seam allowance)
1. For 18" x 18" pillow - Cut 1 - 19" x 19" for front, Cut 2 - 19" x 14" for back.
2. Pin pom pom trim to outside edges of front and sew in place overlapping the ends.
3. Sew a narrow hem along one long side of the two back pieces.
4. With RST, layer back two pieces to front and sew together using a 1/2" seam allowance.
5. Turn and insert pillow form.
6. For 12" x 16" pillow - Cut 1 - 13" x 17" for front, Cut 2 - 13" x 12" for back.
7. Pin the tassels in place at corners having the top of the tassel 1/2" in from edge.
8. Sew a narrow hem along 13" side of each back pieces.
9. With RST, layer back two pieces to front and sew a 1/2" seam allowance.
10. Turn and insert pillow form.
