- 3/4 yd print 1= pillowcase
- 1/4 yd Print 2 = cuff
- Scrap strip contrast =trim
- Sewing machine
- Basic sewing supplies
- Rotary cutter, ruler & mat
- Iron & pressing surface
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut:
a. One 27" x 40" main fabric
b. One 9" x 40" cuff fabric
c. One 2 1/2" x 40" trim fabric - Fold trim fabric in half lengthwise wrong sides together and press.
- Place cuff fabric face up on a flat surface. Pin trim piece long raw edge along top long raw edge of the cuff fabric.
- Place main fabric face down on trim/cuff fabric, pin along the top long raw edge then baste together using a ¼" seam allowance.
- Beginning at the bottom of the main fabric, roll fabric up to the top basted edge until bottom edge of the cuff fabric shows.
- Fold the bottom edge of the cuff fabric up over the rolled main fabric and pin to basted edge. Sew along the basted edge using a 3/8" seam. Be careful not to catch the main fabric in the seam.
- Pull the main fabric roll out one end of the cuff and press.
- Fold fabric in half wrong sides together and sew a 1/4" seam along the side and bottom.
- Trim the seam allowance to 1/8", clip corner and turn wrong side out.
- Press seam with right sides together.
- Sew a 1/4" seam.
- Turn right side out and press.
