Use 5/8" seam on pattern.
- Trace front bodice onto Kraft paper. Mark off sweetheart neckline by lowering the center front to desired depth or 6". Measure over 4 1/2" from CF, mark dot. Measure down 6 1/2" from shoulder neckline, then curving a line to center front to make sweetheart neckline.
- Cut out of fusible for the new neckline facing. A change of neckline can be made at this time if desired. Cut lining also for front and back.
- Sleeves: Trace original sleeve #6 onto Kraft paper. Cut apart sleeve into 4 sections before the notches and near the gathering dots. Spread each section 1 3/4", keeping the bottom seam line straight. Re-design the cap by raising the center of the cap by 2". Make a wide curve line going down to the notches. Use the original #6 pattern as the lining, gathering the altered sleeve to fit the original. Follow the lower sleeve instructions and sew it to the upper sleeve.
