How To Get It
The Original Magnatab was designed with the Montessori learning style in mind, creating a sensory-based creative play experience. Using the magnetic stylus, children pull the beads up to the surface to draw pictures, letters, numbers and shapes. In doing this, they feel the pull of the magnets, hear their clicking sound, and see what they are drawing. The beads are magically “erased” when pushed down by the tip of a finger or the swipe of the side of the stylus. The tablet features easy storage for the magnetic stylus, which clicks securely into place. Great for use at home or in the classroom!

Perfect screen free entertainment
My kids love this! They like drawing things and the other one gets to guess what it is! My 4 and 6 year old both love it! Even my 18 month old loves popping the little balls back in to the holes!

Lots of fun
My son is 3 years old. He is not yet drawing pictures on his own, but really enjoyed playing with this to pull up the magnetic balls with the pen. Comes very neatly packaged to be able to give as a gift. Easy to follow directions.

Must have educational toy!
I purchased one of these for my 3 year old daughter, and resulted in our entire household picking it up and enjoying it. Especially my 5 year old. Even the "grown up children" (parents) enjoyed using it as the sound and feel of the magnets, and ease of drawing/making pictures and patterns was engaging, calming and overall fun. Its also a great size for both the house, and small enough to pack and use on the go, or in a car.

Simple Fun for All
My son and I have enjoyed playing with the Playskool Magnatab Free Draw. We took turns drawing a picture and the other person guessing what was being drawn. My son said it reminded him of the blocks on Minecraft. It's simple, but gets children using their fine motor skills and not staring at a screen.

Awesome toy, really appeals to the senses.
I got this for my son (9), he's been enjoying it, but surprisingly my teenage daughters (15 and 17) have really taken to playing with it. First-off, the rattling ball-bearings might be a bit too much for taking on an overnight trip, but that seems to add to the appeal. Overall, the noise isn't overwhelming, this just isn't the toy to be playing with right at bedtime. Great design; it's very sturdy and tough, the case is a modern sort of grip, feels like a tablet in a hardcase in the hands. The magnet inside the stylus holder is a good touch, less likely for it to fall out and get lost. This is an excellent toy for keeping a kiddo busy, the little clickity-clack of the metal bearings seems to add to the appeal. the system doesn't hold a ball perfectly, a hard jolt could knock it back down into the tablet, but they do stay in place. My wife works at a head start and took it there, told me the kids really enjoyed it (although in that setting, the ones with the letters might be better). This toy would be great to give to young children in pre-handwriting stages as the holding the stylus could help with developing hand muscles. On the plus side, in a pinch it'll make a great shaker at music time too.

It's so fun!
My kids loved this! My son (10) caught on pretty quickly, My daughter (3) got frustrated at first but when she figured out what to do, she loved it! It's easy for all ages (3+)
It kept the kids occupied for quite some time, and they had fun making crazy pictures and shapes. It's sturdy and the pen stays in securely when not in use which is a major plus!

Simple & stimulating
My 5 year old ripped this out of the box and immediately started drawing. At first he was frustrated "erasing" each dot with the back of the pen but quickly realized swiping the side of the pen across the board worked much more efficiently. It keeps him entertained for maybe 10 minutes at a time and as soon as he sets it down my 3 year old picks it up. I love the simplicity of this toy and and the creativity it stimulates. The clicking sound is very satisfying; I've enjoyed drawing with it myself. It is very sturdy and has been dropped, thrown and fought over. We love to bring it in the car and it would likely be good for entertaining kids in a restaurant. It's not a favorite toy but it still get used often.
