SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Bernat® Forever Fleece Yarn, White Noise
  • Bernat® Forever Fleece Yarn, Ballpoint Blue
  • Bernat® Forever Fleece Yarn, Bergamot
  • Bernat® Forever Fleece Yarn, Lavender
  • Pom pom maker
  • 6" x 6" Scrap cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Yarn Needle

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Use the pom pom maker to create a white pom for the middle of the flower. Use a long strand of yarn to tie the middle of the pom.
  2. Make 5 more poms with the different color yarns. Use a long strand of white yarn to tie the middle of each pom.
  3. Take a colorful pom and the white pom. Use a yarn needle to thread the middle strands of the colorful pom through the middle of the white pom. Knot on the other end and trim the strands.
  4. Repeat this with all the colorful poms, around the white pom, making a flower shape.
  5. Use a yarn needle to thread the middle strands of the white pom through the middle of the one of the colorful poms. Knot the ends of the white strand to create a loop to hang the flower.
  6. Make a white tassel. Wrap the white yarn around the scrap cardboard 15 times. Cut a 6" piece of yarn and thread it through the top of the wrapped yarns. Knot it tightly. Carefully slide the yarns off the cardboard. Cut a 12" piece of yarn and wrap it around all of the yarns, about an inch from the top. Knot it tightly. Cut the bottom of the yarns to finish the tassel.
  7. Thead the top tassel yarns through the middle of the white pom, so that the tassel will hang from the bottom of the flower. Knot the ends to secure.
