POP! Matching Tee and Short Set

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Simplicity® 8180
• Required fabric for shirt (see pattern back)
• 1/4yd contrasting fabric for collar, cuffs & pocket
• Required notions for shirt (see pattern back)
• Matching thread
• Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:

1. Follow pattern directions and cut out shirt front, back and sleeves.
2. Use contrast fabric to cut out collar and pocket.
3. From the contrast fabric cut two pieces 4"x width of sleeve.
4. Follow pattern directions to sew shirt.
5. For sleeve cuff, before hemming sleeve, stitch the short ends of contrast cuff together, then fold in half and press.
6. Stitch edge of cuff to edge of sleeve and turn under 1".
7. Hem stitch sleeve cuff.
