SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 2/3yd 54" home decor fabric (approx 24"x 24" per chair seat)
- 2"x 15"x 17" high density foam
- Staple gun and 3/8" staples
- Sewing machine
- Basic sewing supplies
DIRECTIONS:
- Using a chair with 15" square seat (As in example. Amount of fabric and foam will differ for larger seat.)
- Cut a 24" square of fabric.
- Finish edges of fabric (zig zag or serge).
- Cut the foam to 15" square, or use the wood piece from your chair seat.
- Lay fabric RSD on firm surface.
- Center foam on top.
- Center wood seat.
- Stretch fabric around center back, staple then center the front, then staple.
- Repeat with both sides.
- Fold in corners, making a neat pleat and staple.
- Reinforce with staples where needed.
