- Tape the paper straw onto the back of the mask.
- Using the brushes and craft paint, paint the paper plate brown.
- Cut off the bottom of the plate and around the edge to make it look like an owl head. Punch holes for the eyes.
- Using the section that has been cut off to form eyebrows for the owl.
- Cut 1" sections of tan cardstock. Cut small sections to make fringe for around the eyes of the owl. Glue the fringe around the eyes.
- Cut triangle from mustard cardstock and glue to the bottom of the plate, between the eyes.
- Tape the paper straw onto the back of the mask.
JOANN HACKS:
- To make the fringe go around the eyes easier, make small slits at the bottom of the paper. This will help it to wrap around the eyes.
