  • NOTE: SVG file includes score line.
  1. Cut out the template pieces by hand or upload them into to your Design Space account. Cut the different pieces out of the cardstock.
  2. Size your lettering to fit the center banner and the front banner for the card. Cut your lettering on your Cricut® machine using the black vinyl and apply it to the banners.
  3. For the backing of the card, take one piece of Park Lane cardstock and score it in the middle horizontally and fold in half. To score your cardstock use your X-Acto® knife and cut a line lightly but not all the way through the paper at the 5.5" measurement and then fold on the score line.
  4. Repeat making this backing with another piece of cardstock for the insert color.
  5. Fold and glue the cap and banner for the inside and outside banner and scroll of the card.
  6. Use the gold embroidery to make the tassel. To make a tassel, cut a small piece of cardstock about 3" wide. Wrap the gold embroidery thread around the piece of cardstock about 10 times. Take another piece of embroidery thread about 10" long and loop it through the top of the tassel. Tie it off at the top of the tassel and twist the strand into a cord. Snip the bottom of the looped embroidery thread to make the fringe of the tassel. Glue the tassel at the top of the grad cap in the center.
  7. For the front of the card, cut a piece of the gold glitter metallic cardstock to be 1/4" smaller than the card front. Use the adhesive sticker tape to attach the glitter gold cardstock on the front.
  8. Cut a small piece out of the red cardstock to make the ribbon for the diploma. Glue it onto the diploma.
  9. Use the foam squares mounted on the back of the diploma to make it stand off the card to make it dimensional.
  10. Glue the banner over top of the diploma.

JOANN HACKS:
