SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 100% cotton fabric (A)
  • 100% cotton coordinating fabric (B)
  • Fusible Fleece interfacing
  • Silver lining
  • Belting (1) 60" length & (2) 4" lengths
  • 2 swivel hooks
  • 2 D rings
  • 1 adjustable slide buckle
  • Basic sewing supplies

DIRECTIONS:

NOTE: Use 1/2" seam allowances
  1. Cut two 4" diameter circles from fabric A
  2. Cut two 11"x 9" rectangles fabric A
  3. Cut two 11"x 5" rectangles fabric B
  4. Cut one 11"x 9" rectangle fusible fleece interfacing
  5. Cut one 11"x 9" rectangle Silver Lining
  6. Cut one 4" circle fusible fleece interfacing
  7. Cut one 4" circle Silver Lining
  8. Make bias strip 1 1/2"x 36" long and stitch close to edge for tie.
  9. Iron fleece interfacing to wrong side of one 11"x 9" rectangle.
  10. With right sides together sew the 11"x 5" rectangle to the 11"x 9" rectangle and repeat with the other two pieces for the lining of the bottle holder.
  11. Topstitch 1/4" from seam line.
  12. Baste the silver lining rectangle to the interfaced rectangle.
  13. With right sides together sew the rectangle with the interfacing and Silver Lining together to create a tube, leaving a 1" opening for the tie to pass through near the top and a 3" opening 2" up from the bottom to turn.
  14. With right sides together sew together the lining piece to create a tube (no opening is necessary for this piece).
  15. Iron fleece interfacing to one circle.
  16. Baste the silver lining circle to the interfaced circle.
  17. Pin and sew circle with interfacing to bottom of piece with interfacing.
  18. Pin and sew circle to bottom of lining.
  19. Turn lining right side out and insert into the outer piece with right sides together, pin and sew along top edge.
  20. Turn right side out through 3" opening.
  21. Topstitch around top edge and then again 1" from top stitching to make channel for tie.
  22. Thread tie through hole near top edge.
  23. Hand stitch 3" opening closed.
  24. Loop 4" piece of belting though D ring and sew belting right sides together.
  25. Attach one loop to each side of the bottle holder and hand stitch to secure.
  26. Using 60" belting, attach swivel hooks and slide buckle to create strap to attach to D rings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute but make sure you measure your water bottle first It was a little too small for my water bottle. Make sure to adjust the bottle holder for your water bottle otherwise decent instructions
