DIRECTIONS:
- If you want to alter the project, select Customize, then use the tools in the Edit panel to make changes before you cut.
- Measure and mask off sections of equidistant portions for each color on the door mat.
- Paint each color on the door mat by dabbing generous amounts of paint into the fibers with the foam brush. Allow each color to dry fully before placing or removing masking tape. Set aside to dry fully. Then cut.
- Follow Design Space prompts to cut images from vinyl. Then assemble.
- Since this is a stencil project use a Weeder Tool to remove unneeded interior vinyl pieces.
- Hand place the vinyl cut to the prepped door mat, placing the inner portion of the "o" as appropriate. Use pins to secure the vinyl to the mat if needed, especially around the edges.
- Once secured, paint inside the stencil on the door mat by dabbing generous amounts of paint into the fibers with the foam brush.
- Gently lift edges to check for full coverage and fill in any areas if needed. Once paint is completely dry remove vinyl.
