    2. Attach entire image and duplicate as many times as needed.

    4. Carefully peel up the cut paper design rolling inwards slowly until the pumpkin design comes off the mat.
    5. Pumpkin will assemble with no glue.
    6. Using a wood rod or the end of a paintbrush roll the rectangle up tight.
    7. Slide the holes in the pumpkin wedges over the rolled stem.
    8. Use the leaf to write your guest's name and attach by wrapping around stem.

    JOANN HACKS:

    • Roll the pumpkin edges while getting it off the mat.
    • Use cardstock for intricate cuts for the material type. Using a cardstock will help all the small details of the pumpkin's design easily cut out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tricky but Super Cute! Yes, as explained before you have to edit the file before cutting, but once you do, ugh SUPER CUTE setting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Remove errant diagonal cut lines with contour There's obviously an error in the cut file that has a series of diagonal line that cut the image apart. Remove these using the contour option in design space and the rest works fine, making a very pretty decoration. I removed the bottom circle cut out too and turned the pumpkin into a gift box for cookies. I used light weight card - Basic Grey patterned paper and was very happy with the result.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to do Only issue was lines through the image, ruined 1st one and had to contour out lines and the it was fine. Trimmed down the stem piece to make it easier to roll and fit in hole. Be casual not to over handle it or it will tear off.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs some extra help Using Cricut Explore Air 2: The SVG file downloads with a cut that completely chops up the pumpkin. SO I had to go into the contour and hide some cuts. I also was using nice thick textured cardstock that was also creating some jagged cuts that did not look pretty. I switched to a thinner paper and that made a difference. I went a step above and customized the sections of the pumpkin for each person. I nice little touch that really made it look more polished was adding sections of vellum paper. That helped hide the tealight and allowed the designs to pop.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from the pattern didn't work. I tried three different times to cut this with my cricut maker and each time I had to throw it away. One of the 'petals' always ended up separating from the rest of the shape.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So need an actual die cut for these or similar. I would love an actual metal die cut for this project. I find it difficult using my older vintage 2011 digital paper cutter. Computer problems and update software issues both. So in the end I often default to metal dies and this would be idea as one. I have a couple of dies I'm thinking I can make a template to cut out one of the oval sides that come to a point at the top of pumpkin and deep enough to glue together at bottom and make enough to make a pumpkin or circle. I'll have to bend or score the bends depending on thickness of cardstock used. But bet it comes out jsut as nice if not nicer. The die cut name tag I'll look for something other than a leaf cut though it's a great touch. I can think of other options just as nice however.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turned out great! I loved the way these turned out. You definitely have to make sure you use a sharp blade and a smooth mat, but that's a given with any intricate cutting. I used a trick that I learned back in my elementary days to curl the stem narrow enough to fit through the gathering holes. I took a damp sponge and slightly moistened the paper stock then used a toothpick instead of a small paintbrush handle to wrap it around. You definitely don't want to use a card stock on this if you intend on rolling the stem. I did a few without the paper stock stem and used twigs from a tree in my yard. Those came out cute too. I have some fake autumn leaves left over from last year that I'm going to set the pumpkin on then on the plate for my holiday dinner.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from just didn't work All the fine cut out detail did not roll smoothly up the sides, was very jagged. Trying to roll the "stem" small enough was a problem, even heavy cardstock ripped. (Would be easier to tie with yarn to leave a stem. Clearing out some of the extra detail cutouts (especially down by the bottom curve), getting rid of the rolled stem section, made it work fine. My "yes" recommendation would have the above caveats.
