DIRECTIONS:

NOTE: The techniques for this project are simple chain making as well as how to make a double wrapped loop.
  1. Making Three Queen Components:
    • Take 3, long 3-inch head pins.
    • Add your components in this order.
    • A Heart bead with the bumps pointing down.
    • A pointy bead cap that you like from the assorted pack.
    • A rhinestone spacer bead to look like jewels around her neck.
    • A ceramic face bead.
    • A rhinestone spacer bead.
    • A pointy bead cap facing up that looks like a crown from the assorted pack.

  2. You will now need to make a double wrapped loop. Try to keep the loops as tight to the bead cap as possible to prevent the head from turning. This may require 3 or 4 loops. Using your flush cutters carefully cut the tail and tuck it in using your chain nose pliers. Repeat these steps two more times to make three identical Queen charms.
  3. Using 2 Silver ear wires and your chain nose pliers, gently twist the loop open and slide on the Queen charm. Gently twist the loop closed. Repeat for the second ear wire.
  4. Measure out a length of chain you like, using your ruler or measuring tape. Add a 4mm jump ring to one end then the lobster claw. Add an 8mm jump ring to the last Queen charm you made. Pull the chain
  5. through the 8mm jump ring on the Queen Charm. To prevent losing the charm secure the opposite end with a 4mm jump ring then a 6mm jump ring. At this point you can add 4 more jump rings and make an extender chain.
  6. Using one of the head pins and either a red or black bead that came with your face strand, create a dangle to finish off your extender chain.
