DIRECTIONS:
- Cut each blanket square into 5 or 6 strips.
- Sew strips alternating colors together in two ways.
- You can make two blankets by sewing the strips into two separate blankets. With right sides together, sew the two together, turn and sew opening closed. Top stitch around 1/2" around outside edge.
- Sew as many of the strips together as desired and have a longer striped blanket. This way the seams will show on the back. You could also serge the seams of the stripes for a finished look on back.
- Once blanket is made, cut the yarn, and make tassels for two ends of the blanket.
- Attach tassels to the ends with a whip stitch.

Beautiful throw...lacking information
Wow, I wanted to know how to make this and I don't know anymore now than I did before I read the instructions. Would have like to have known some measurements for the blanket, as well as the tassels. How big a piece of cardboard and how many yarn wraps?

Information lacking
The instructions provided should state the size of the finished blanket as well as the size of the strips. Also lacking is how to make the tassel. The finished picture is great, but for a beginner item, more details are needed.
