SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 2 Fat Quarters in colors of your choice
- Thread
- Sewing Machine
- One grad cap
- Quick Grip Glue
DIRECTIONS:
- Create one quilted block panel 1/4" larger than the size of the grad cap using the 2 fat quarters.
- After block is created, slit a hole in the center to slide over the button of the cap.
- Pull the edges tight and place a small dab of Quick grip glue to hold in place.
- Wrap the edges around the cap and using a blind stitch attach the sides of the block to the cap.
JOANN HACKS:
- Make sure it is centered before applying the small dab of glue and also before you do the blind stitch to attach it to the cap.

Missing helpful information
Looks like one could use half square triangles. But photo provided isn't done that way. The instructions are assuming you have a graduation cap to make a pattern and get measurements. Would make a nice pre-graduation gift.
