SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Kit of Jelly soap materials
- Scissors
- Roll of parchment paper
DIRECTIONS:
- Find a clean flat surface to work on near your microwave.
- Lay out a sheet of parchment paper for placing your soaps once you extract them from the soap molds.
- Follow the instructions on the soap making kit.
- To make them ombre, while they are still hot and in the plastic molds, place a few drops of one color at one end of the soap and a different color at the other end. Using a toothpick or wooden crafting stick, drag the color across to slightly blend with the other color. Do not overmix the two colors.
- When you go to extract the soaps from the molds, make sure they are cooled. Lightly pull back the edge from one side while holding it upside down. Be patient and it will pull away from the mold on its own.
- Lay the jelly soap on the parchment paper until you are ready to move them.
CRAFT HACK TIPS & TRICKS:
- If you want to speed up the process, put soaps in a cool place or in the refrigerator. This allows them to become firmer and easier to work with.
