SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Preferred cake mix
- White chocolate ganache recipe
- Cake pans (either 6" or 8" depending on desired height)
- Cookies (for decoration)
- Assorted candies & sprinkles
- Basic baking tools
DIRECTIONS:
- Make sure you let your cake cool completely before adding any icing (otherwise it will all melt off).
- “Dirty icing" the cake, or applying a thin layer of icing to the cake, and chilling the cake in the refrigerator, will lock all of the crumbs in, maintain moistness and help to create a smooth finish
- Once chilled, add a thicker layer of icing to the sides and top, smoothing it out to create an even surface. Chill again to set icing.
- After the icing is set, add a ring of colorful white chocolate ganache to the edges, allowing it to drip down the sides.
- Decorate your cake with assorted candies, sprinkles, and cookies.
