DIRECTIONS:
- Cut the top neckline and the sleeve cuffs from the sweatshirt.
- Crumple the sweatshirt and secure it in that shape with rubber bands placed randomly around.
- Wearing rubber gloves, fill a spray bottle with 1/2 bleach, 1/2 water.
- Spray the sweatshirt generously, making sure to soak. Allow it to sit for an hour.
- Remove the rubber bands.
- Wash the sweatshirt in warm water with mild detergent, rinse and dry.
- Try on the sweatshirt and decide the length to crop it. Make sure to add an extra 2" to the length for the drawstring casing.
- Cut the bottom edge of the sweatshirt where desired.
- Fold the bottom hem up 1" inside the sweatshirt and pin in place.
- Sew along the drawstring casing.
- Cut two small slits 1" apart in the drawstring casing at the front of the sweatshirt.
- Feed the drawstring through the casing. Knot each end of the drawstring.
- Position the iron on applique where desired. Iron in place to secure.
