To begin working with O’Go, locate the end of the yarn.
Carefully cut plastic tie where ends of the O’Go meet.
Pull to remove tie.
For this pattern, colors can be easily separated by gently pulling apart and cutting at the color transition. Each color is ready to use. Follow color guide shown in Materials section for each O’Go (Contrast A, B, C, D and E). You may find it helpful to place each color section in its own resealable (zip lock) bag and label each bag A, B, C, D and E.
To change color, work to last 2 loops on hook, yoh with new color. Pull through 2 loops on hook to complete st and proceed in new color.
Ch-3 at beg of row/rnd counts as dc throughout.
STRIPE PAT 1
With A, 1 row.
With B, 1 row.
With C, 1 row.
With D, 1 row.
With E, 1 row.
With MC, 14 rows.
These 19 rows form Stripe Pat A.
STRIPE PAT 2

Make 4 with MC.
Make 3 in Stripe Pat 1.

1st row: (RS). 1 dc in 4th ch from hook (skipped ch-3 counts as dc). 1 dc in each of next 34 ch. Cluster over next 5 ch. Place marker on last st to mark center. 1 dc in each of last 36 ch. 73 sts. Turn.
2nd to 18th rows: Ch 3. 1 dc in each dc to 2 sts before marked st. Cluster over next 5 sts, replacing marker on last st. 1 dc in each dc to end of row. 4 sts dec’d on each row. Turn.
5 sts rem at end of 18th row.
19th row: Ch 3. (Skip next st. Yoh and draw up a loop in next st. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Sew Mitred Squares tog using flat seam as seen in Assembly Diagram.
BORDER
With RS facing, join MC with sl st to any corner of Blanket.
1st rnd: Ch 3. 4 dc in same sp as last sl st. Work dc evenly around outer edge of Blanket, working 5 dc in each corner. Join with sl st to top of ch-3.
2nd rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in each dc around working 5 dc in each corner dc. Join with sl st to top of ch-3. Fasten off.
