The instructions are written for smallest size. If changes are necessary for larger sizes the instructions will be written thus ( ). Numbers for each size are shown in the same color throughout the pattern. When only one number is given in black, it applies to all sizes.
NOTES:
To begin working with the O'Go format, carefully cut plastic tie where the ends of the O'Go meet.
Pull tie to remove and start knitting!
When joining new O'Gos, try to join shade at same point in stripe repeat to keep continuity of the color repeat.
Extra yarn pulled out for matching stripes can be rejoined later when appropriate.

SWEATER
Beg at back edge with circular needle, cast on 42 (50-58) sts. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
1st row: (RS). K2. *P2. K2. Rep from * to end of row.
2nd row: P2. *K2. P2. Rep from * to end of row. Rep last 2 rows of (K2. P2) ribbing 3 (4-5) times more.
Next row: (RS). (K2. P2) twice. Knit to last 8 sts. (P2. K2) twice.
Next row: (P2. K2) twice. Purl to last 8 sts. (K2. P2) twice.
Rep last 2 rows twice more.

SHAPE BACK
1st row (inc row): (RS). (K2. P2) twice. M1. Knit to last 8 sts. M1. (P2. K2) twice.
Work 7 (9-11) rows even in pat as established, taking inc sts into stocking st.
Rep last 8 (10-12) rows 1 (1-2) time(s) more. 46 (54-64) sts.
Cont even in pat as established until work from beg measures 53/4 (7-91/2)" [ 14.5 (18-24) cm], ending on a WS row.
Shape Belly: With WS facing, join separate length of matching color of yarn to opposite end of needle to working yarn and using 2 needle cable cast-on method, cast on 10 (14-18) sts. Break yarn.
Next row: (RS). Return to working yarn and using 2 needle cable cast-on method, cast on 10 (14- 18) sts. [(P2. K2) 2 (3-4) times. P2] across these cast-on sts. (K2. P2) twice. K30 (38-48). (P2. K2) twice. [(P2. K2) 2 (3-4) times. P2] across final cast-on sts. 66 (82-100) sts.
Next row: (K2. P2) 4 (5-6) times. K2. Purl to last 18 (22-26) sts. (K2. P2) 4 (5-6) times. K2.
Cont even in pat as established until work from Belly cast on sts measures 2 (3-41/2)" [5 (7.5-11.5) cm], ending on a WS row.

Divide for Leg Openings:
1st row: (RS). (P2. K2) 3 (4-5) times. P1. Turn. Leave rem sts on a st holder.
2nd row: (WS). K1. (P2. K2) 3 (4-5) times. 13 (17-21) sts.
3rd row: (P2. K2) 3 (4-5) times. P1. Rep last 2 rows 6 (7-8) times more, then 2nd row once. Leave these sts on a st holder.
1st row: (RS). Rejoin yarn to Body sts. P1. K2. P2. K30 (38-48). P2. K2. P1. Turn. Leave rem sts on st holder.

Collar:
1st row: (RS). *P2. K2. Rep from * to last 2 sts. P2.
2nd row: *K2. P2. Rep from * to last 2 sts. K2. Rep last 2 rows until Collar measures 3 (31/2-4)" [7.5 (9-10) cm], ending on a WS row.
Cast off in ribbing.

FINISHING
Sew Collar and Belly seam taking care to match stripes when possible.
Leg edging: (RS). With doublepointed needles, pick up and knit 24 (28-32) sts evenly around leg opening. Divide sts on 3 needles. Join in rnd, PM on first st.
Work 6 (8-10) rnds in (K2. P2) ribbing.
Cast off loosely in ribbing.
