NOTES:
Even numbered rows are the right side of work.
For a wider or narrower blanket, add or subtract from the pattern's cast on number in multiples of 24. For a longer blanket, continue pattern repeat. You may have to adjust yarn quantity if these changes are made.
Throw is worked back and forth in rows. A circular needle is used in order to accommodate the full width of the stitches.
THROW
With A, cast on 216 sts.
Rows 1-3: Knit.
Row 4 (right side): *[Ssk] 4 times, [M1R, k1] 4 times, [k1, M1L] 4 times, [k2tog] 4 times; repeat from * across.
Rows 5-12: Repeat Rows 1-4 twice.

TASSELS
(Make 1 color matching tassel for each end of stripe rows and 3 tassels for each end of color A rows.) For each tassel, cut four 10" lengths. Hold the strands of yarn together and fold in half forming a loop at one end. Insert crochet hook into edge of Throw and place loop on hook. Draw loop through, insert ends through loop and pull to tighten. Repeat tassel attachment in every stripe across edge. Repeat for other edge of Throw. Trim tassels evenly.
FINISHING
