DIRECTIONS:
NOTE: Old and antique furniture may have used lead-based paints or oils. If in doubt, buy a test kit at a local hardware store to test.If possible, work outside over a drop cloth for easy clean up.
- Lightly sand the entire surface of the piece of furniture.
- Once it is sanded, wipe it down with a rag and acetone to get off any oily surface grime.
- Set furniture in a well-ventilated area without wind.
- Spray the first coat of paint lightly on the entire surface. Apply many coats of spray paint. Let it dry between coats.
- To make sure all areas are covered, spray from different directions and angles. To get even coats, make smooth passes while you spray paint.
