SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Letter Silicone Mold
- hildie & jo UV Resin 02
- Color Pour UV Light
- Color Pour Glitter, Gold
- Color Pour Pigment Gel, Blue
- Heat Gun
- Toothpicks
DIRECTIONS:
- Create one letter at a time. Pour a thin layer of the resin into the letter. Make sure it covers the bottom completely. Place a very small drop of the blue pigment gel at the bottom of the letter and swirl around with a toothpick. Don't place any of the blue pigment gel in the top part of the letter. Sprinkle a small amount of the gold glitter at the top of the letter and swirl around. Shine the UV light on it for 60 seconds.
- Make another layer on top of the harden first layer repeating this process. Continue to make thin layers but do not go to the top of the mold. Keep your last top layer about 1/8" from the top.
- Push the finished layer out of the mold and flip over so that you are looking at it right side up.
- For a finished look carefully apply a thin layer to the top surface of the letter to bring out the transparency and gloss of the letter. At this time, you can also fill in any holes or space it made when creating the first layer.
JOANN HACKS:
- Let the letters sit for a couple of days to completely harden. If possible, put them in a sunny window to harden.
