SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Color Pour resin & resin hardener
- Color Pour resin ring holder mold
- Color Pour resin holiday opaque dye
- Color Pour resin holiday glitter
- Color Pour resin supply kit
- Color Pour resin heat gun
- Mini bottle brush trees
- Cake
DIRECTIONS:
- Wearing gloves from the supply kit, mix a small amount of equal parts resin and hardener according to package instructions.
- Add gold dye to the resin and mix slowly. Pour into the ring holder mold. For this mold you will work backwards, meaning the bottom of the mold will be the top of the tree when unmolded.
- Apply heat with the heat gun to disperse any bubbles. Allow to cure 12-24 hours until hard.
- Mix another small batch of equal parts resin and hardener according to package instructions. Add 1 drop of green dye and mix slowly. Pour into the mold over the cured gold layer. Apply heat with the Heat Gun to disperse any bubbles. Allow to cure 12-24 hours until hard.
- Mix another small batch of equal parts resin and hardener according to package instructions. Add green glitter to the resin and mix slowly. Pour into the mold over the other cured layers. Apply heat with the Heat Gun to disperse any bubbles. Allow to cure 12-24 hours until hard.
- Mix another small batch of equal parts resin and hardener according to package instructions. Add green dye to the resin and mix slowly - this layer should be very opaque. Pour dyed resin into the mold to create the final layer - fill to the top. Apply heat with the heat gun to disperse any bubbles. Allow to cure 12-24 hours until hard.
- Remove from the mold.
- Add to the top of a cake and embellish with mini gold bottle brush trees.
